Foray into patchwork

My initial plan was to blindly choose strips of fabric and just let chance decide the pattern. I quickly realized I wasn't so carefree.

I also thought I'd make a whole blanket but realized I'd actually have to measure. So instead, I took Cheryl's brilliant suggestion and made a "taggy" blanket.

And now I've got three more. Because free form quilting is really rather fun!
